In case you haven't noticed, my office is located right next to the Orange County Courthouse. Here's some words of advice if you're heading to my office: the parking downtown can be pretty vicious, so you'll need to make sure you've paid a parking meter. You may not realize it, but there's always a tow truck lurking just out of view. Also, some people find it easier to park near my office when going to court, rather than parking in chaos found at the Orange County Courthouse's parking garage.
Now, I should mention a few things about contacting my office, after all, this is the "Contact Us" section of the website.
First, my favorite way to chat with you is via phone. I like phone calls, I'm old fashioned in that way. If you don't reach me on the first try, calls are typically returned within hours, though sometimes it takes me a day to get back to you. If so, I apologize in advance. If you become my client (and I hope you do!), I will give you my personal cell phone number. I'm happy to report that, since 1993, no one has abused this so I'm going to keep giving it out.
I hope that when you call my office, you'll see that we actually care. Check out the reviews left by old clients and see if you like what they're saying. Not to rant too much here (too late?), but I'm amazed at how many defense attorneys out there have no empathy. You can't do this job without empathy! Empathy is everything.
Also, I like receiving emails, but please leave me your phone number because I prefer to call you. And, even though I like receiving emails, who likes a long email? Not me. I won't read an email that could pass for a two thousand word essay. Yes, I've had folks attach their trial transcripts (hundreds of pages!) and ask for my opinion regarding their appeal. I do appeals--but call me. No offense, but I'm not opening attachments from folks I don't know.
I want to discuss your case, and I want to help. But please note, I don't handle criminal cases everywhere. Only Florida. You'd be surprised how many people reach out to me from out of state, even out of the country. I'm licensed to practice in Florida only, so I cannot answer questions about the laws in Singapore, for example. That being said, I have heard spitting and smoking in public is illegal in Singapore. Spitting in public is gross, but making it a crime seems to be taking things a bit too far. Anyway...
Give me a call at 407-423-1117, and let's discuss how we can fix things for you. If you're calling after hours, I do get these messages, and I'll try to get back to you as soon as I can. If you want to email me without using a "form", my email address is email@example.com.
